Łukasz’s journey into nature photography is rooted in the belief that paradise is never far away. In ancient Rome, the Elysian Fields were described as heaven for heroes and virtuous souls. For Łukasz Boch, paradise can be found just around the corner – in a forest, by a river, or high in the treetops. This idea inspired him to create Elizium Wild, a space where he shares the beauty of Polish nature through images and stories, while exchanging knowledge about the art of photography. With this project, he brings people closer to nature that is often overlooked. His photographs are not just pictures, but stories filled with emotion – aiming to awaken respect for life and the environment.
Fascinated by light, the aesthetics of the natural world, and life outdoors, Łukasz spends countless hours exploring wild places. His work is deeply connected to water and birdlife, especially herons, terns, and cranes. He often spends weeks with bird families, capturing their lives from birth to migration. For him, nature photography is more about the experience than the result: intense encounters with wildlife bring the most authentic images.
Astrophotography has recently opened new horizons for him, offering nights under star-filled skies that he describes as meditative. These solitary moments, whether in the forest or by a lake, have become an important part of his creative journey.
The equipment from Mr Jan Gear plays a vital role in his explorations. From swaying treetops to floating hides on rivers, it supports him in capturing the unique perspectives that define his work. As an ambassador, Łukasz hopes his experiences will not only inspire others to look more closely at the world around them, but also help shape the future of Mr Jan Gear products.
