For most people, socks are just socks. Not for us. Knitting socks is a high-end tech product and with new and modern fibers there is a lot of comfort and functionality to gain. Especially in winter and when using a dry-suit in colder water a pair of good socks can make the difference.
After a lot of testing and experiencing cold feet we found the Primaloft socks from the Spanish company Mund performing very well.
This sock is a perfect addition to consider when you are in the field or in the water with your floating hide – Primaloft is known to keep you warm in wet circumstances, so Mund used it in the Makalu Trekking which makes them perfect for the nature photographer.
