We’ve had countless disappointing vacuum bottles. So in an attempt to find the very best, we transformed our kitchen into a lab and did some simple household testing.
We preheated the bottles with boiling water for 10 minutes, then refilled them with fresh boiling water. We took measurements at random intervals and re-ran the test with the 3 best bottles. But even the best ones let the temperature drop to about 40ºC after 19 hours – the temperature that makes most people decide not to drink the coffee anymore.
The Shira bottle outperformed every bottle we had: after 48 hours, we still had a reasonably warm cup of coffee. Highly recommended!
